ITINERARY:
Our excursion begins picking you up at 9:00 am at the lobby of your hotel.
Arrive to the archaeological park of Chichen Itza where you will have a guided tour of the site where you can admire the majestic Observatory, the Sacred Cenote where sacrifices took place, the Ball Court, the largest Ball Game in Mesoamerica; It is 168 meters in length and 70 meters in width with a perfect acoustic or observe the Castle; Pyramid of Kukulcan, where both theology and astronomy combine to produce a unique spectacle twice a year, the Spring Equinox and the Autumn Solstice, days when the shadows projected over the architectonic elements of the building resemble a serpent descending to the ground. Inside the pyramid are located the famous Chac Mool sculpture and the Jaguar Throne. You will also observe the entire Chichen Itza city in the Great Plaza, the heart of Chichen Itza: the Ball Court, the Temple of the Jaguars, the Tzompantli, the Temple of the Warriors and the Temple of the 1,000 columns. Then we can observe the Sacred Cenote, the Observatory and the set of buildings constructed during the Maya Classic period which includes the Nunnery, La Iglesia and Akab Dzib.
After your visit to this World Heritage site you will be transfer to the Hotel Mayaland where you can use the facilities. Enjoy the afternoon relaxing by the pool. You can also stroll through our beautiful gardens and watch the birds.
