Visit the most important archeological zone in Yucatan, ancient capital of the Mayan Empire due to its extraordinary architecture beauty and its geographical location, founded in the year 514. You can admire the majestic Observatory, the Sacred Cenote where sacrifices took place, the Ball Court, the largest Ball Game in Mesoamerica; It is 168 meters in length and 70 meters in width with a perfect acustic or observe the Castle; Pyramid of Kukulcan, where both theology and astronomy combine to produce a unique spectacle twice a year, the Spring Equinox and the Autumn Solstice, days when the shadows projected over the architectonic elements of the building resemble a serpent descending to the ground. Inside the pyramid are located the famous Chac Mool sculpture and the Jaguar Throne.

ITINERARY:
Our excursion begins picking up all the passengers at 9:00 am at the lobby of all Merida mayor hotels.

Arrive to Mayaland Hotel around 10:30 to take a delicious buffet lunch with typical Yucatan dishes as well as poultry, hamburgers and salad bar while watching regional people dancing folkloric music after lunch we are ready to get into the archeological site by the private gate of Mayaland. Once inside we divide groups into English and Spanish speaking and take an 1 ½ hour guided tour with a certified guide that will talk about the history and secrets of the Mayans and will point out the most important places, then enjoy some free time to walk around, observe El Castillo or take some pictures.

We depart at 4:00 and begin drop off at Merida hotels at 5:30 PM.
