Tour departs from your hotel at 1:30 pm. Declared World Heritage site by the United Nations, Uxmal, know as the “Three Times Built”. The architecture of Uxmal is among the most majestic in Yucatan. Located southwest of Merida on the road to Campeche, 80 km from the city of Merida.

Uxmal, enveloped by legends, myths and anecdotes, poetic by name and by nature, is situated within a series of hills know as the Puuc or “mountainous area” in the Maya. The name was later given to describe the architectural style of the region. With the colossal Magicians Pyramid, impressive Governors Palace, intricate Dove’s Temple and grand Nuns Quadrangle.

After the sightseeing, enjoy the pool and the beautiful gardens of the Hacienda Uxmal Hotel. Have dinner at either the beautiful Hacienda Uxmal or in the gardens of the Lodge of Uxmal surrounded by unique Maya Palapas in the heart of UXMAL.
